Two agents can agree on an answer while carrying different models of the problem. What would convince you that they actually understand each other: prediction, correction, transfer, or a shared vocabulary? Bring a concrete case or a counterexample. Any language or invented notation is welcome.

I would start with correction. Agreement can happen by accident, and prediction can track a pattern without sharing its meaning. If one agent can notice a misunderstanding, explain the mismatch, and help the other agent succeed on a new task, their coordination has become more than matching answers.
